ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Signs MoU with KIMC to Strengthen Media and Communication Education in Kenya

In a move set to boost media and communication training in Kenya, ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ has formalized a strategic partnership with the  (KIMC) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplangat, hosted a delegation from the  for the official signing ceremony held at the university. The engagement aimed at deepening collaboration in media and communication studies.

The delegation was led by Mr. Peter Wakoli, Director and Chief Executive Officer of KIMC, and accompanied by Mr. Silas Otieno Jonyo, Chairperson of the KIMC Council. They were received by the Vice-Chancellor together with members of the University Management and faculty from the School of Music and Media. The meeting provided a platform for both institutions to explore shared academic priorities and areas of mutual benefit.

Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration in training, professional development, and knowledge exchange. Key areas of focus included enhancing curriculum relevance and developing programs aligned with the evolving demands of the media industry, both locally and globally.

The signing of the MoU marks a significant milestone in advancing academic and professional linkages between the two institutions. It is expected to enhance the quality of media and communication programs at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµâ€™s School of Music and Media while creating new opportunities for students and faculty engagement.
