Goal of the Programme
The Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) programme is offered under the School of Pharmacy and is designed to train competent, ethical and practice-ready pharmacists equipped for hospital, community, industrial and regulatory pharmacy practice. The programme integrates strong foundations in pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacy, research, and professional practice to meet national and global healthcare needs.

Minimum Admission Requirements:

Diploma in Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology

Enrolled by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB)

KCSE mean grade of C+ (Plus)
This pathway builds upon prior professional training and experience, enabling diploma pharmacists to expand their clinical, pharmaceutical, and research competencies.
Expected Learning Outcomes
The graduates of this program will be adequately prepared to perform the following roles and functions:
- Provision of curative, promotive, and preventive healthcare and pharmaceutical services
- Perform in coordination of activities related to pharmaceutical production, quality assurance, and dispensing at all levels of health care delivery.
- Participation in research and training of pharmaceutical and other healthcare personnel.
