ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Strengthens Continental Partnerships and Showcases Innovation at the 2025 Data Science Africa Conference in Nigeria

ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ, through its School of Science, Engineering and Technology (SSET), proudly participated in the 2025 Data Science Africa (DSA) Workshop and Conference, held at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, from June 2nd to 6th, 2025. The University was represented by a distinguished delegation led by the Dean of SSET, Prof. Peter Rugiri, alongside faculty members and student representatives. This marked a significant milestone in strengthening ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ s regional and international collaborations in the fields of data science and artificial intelligence.

Book Donation to ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Library from Prof. Sung Park and Mrs. Eun Park

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplagat, recently received a generous donation of books to the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Library from Prof. Sung Park and Mrs. Eun Park, American missionaries serving with Africa Gospel Outreach. The donation includes 4,140 volumes covering 3,627 titles across a wide range of disciplines.

On June 4, 2025, ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ hosted Mr. Tonee Bell, Founder and CEO of A Unity System, for a productive courtesy visit at the main campus. The university leadership, led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry K. Kiplangat, warmly received Mr. Bell and acknowledged his significant contributions to technology and innovation. In his opening remarks, Prof. Kiplangat highlighted the university s dedication to forging transformative partnerships that support its mission of delivering holistic, Christ-centred education while advancing research and innovation.
