The day the devil came to Nigeria by Anthony Azekwoh

The Avid Readers Forum convened a reading and discussion session on Anthony Azekwoh鈥檚 short story 鈥The day the devil came to Nigeria鈥 on 25 September 2025. This session was led by Esther Blessing Nasimiyu and Victoria Okeke, two fourth year law students at 蜜桃视频, and attended by other participants including laws students. The session featured a collaborative reading of the story, where participants alternated in reading different sections aloud before moving into an analytical discussion.

Kabarak Law School has convened a three-day conference Katiba @15 Commemoration Conference to mark the fifteenth anniversary of Kenya s 2010 Constitution. Themed Bill of Rights: A Critical Reflection on Constitutional Transformation in Kenya, the conference offers a platform to critically examine all 40 provisions of the Bill of Rights through daily thematic discussions.

Katiba @15: Avid Readers Forum Report 4th Generation Rights

The Avid Readers Forum held on Wednesday, 23rd of July 2025, as part of the Katiba @15 series commemorating 15 years since the promulgation of Kenya s 2010 Constitution, focused on the emerging domain of fourth-generation rights, particularly those related to the digital age. Moderated by Mr Thaiya Jesse, the session featured two panelists: Mr. George Kegoro, Executive Director of the Open Society Initiative for Eastern Africa, and Mr. Dennis Nkarichia, an associate at Mohammed Muigai LLP and a lecturer at Kabarak Law School. Their discussion explored how Kenya s 2010 Constitution accommodates evolving digital rights, the legislative and jurisprudential strides in this area, and the challenges that remain, particularly around trust, access, and accountability in digital governance.
