Empowering Communities Through Clean Water Solutions in Baringo County

Access to safe drinking water remains a fundamental challenge for many rural communities, and addressing this need requires practical, sustainable interventions. In response, ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ, through the Directorate of Research, Innovation and Outreach and the Department of Outreach and Linkages, partnered with Water Matters to deliver a community training and outreach programme in Baringo County focused on improving household access to clean and safe water.

Successful Visit to Timsales Factory by KUPPRAC And Enactus Kabarak

On 13th July 2024, the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Public Policy Research and Analysis Club (KUPPRAC) and the Enactus Kabarak Chapter embarked on an enlightening visit to the Timsales Factory in Elburgon. Led by the club's Deputy President, Boaz Masika Omato, 61 dedicated students and a staff member ventured to the factory to gain a deeper understanding of sustainable industrial practices and corporate environmental responsibility.

On March 23, 2024, the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Public Policy Research and Analysis Club (KUPPRAC) embarked on a heartwarming journey to Moses and Mary Children's Home in Elburgon. ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ staff and students have taken a remarkable step towards supporting the education of underprivileged girls at Kampi ya Moto Secondary School. This noble endeavor, known as the "Support a Needy Girl to Go to School" program, aims to ensure that these girls receive the necessary resources to continue their education, even during their menstrual days.

Marking Menstrual Hygiene Day

Menstrual Hygiene Day is a global initiative that aims to raise awareness about the importance of menstrual hygiene management. ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ's Outreach and Linkages function is making a significant impact on the lives of young girls through its mentorship program. The initiative, known as Support a Needy Girl Attend School, recently mentored and supported girls from Ole Rongai Primary School in Rongai sub-county on June 2nd. The program aims to empower girls to attend school, especially during their monthly periods.

Peace Ambassadors Kenya - Kabarak Chapter Plants Over 10,000 Trees at MAU Forest to Combat Climate Change

On April 15, 2023, the Peace Ambassadors Kenya (PAK) ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Chapter, in collaboration with other PAK chapters, including those from Egerton and Multimedia, participated in an environmental conservation activity. The event was organized under the Green Print initiative by the PAK Nairobi management team and aimed to plant trees at the MAU forest.
